This week at Kol's K9 Kamp , we are supposed to play with our balls! Yaaay!!! Most of mine squeak! BOL!!
Here's the twist, our humans are supposed to "fetch" our balls too! Sort of like a race to see who gets the ball first. BOL!! Now, we all KNOW I am much faster than Mom! BOL!!
There were other games listed, but they seemed like they were meant for bigger dogs, so we chose the one where we both try to "fetch" the ball.
Well, I wasn't in much of a "fetch" mood this week. On Saturday we went to Baron's house, and the puppy cousins were there. I am still not comfortable enough around them to let my guard down. I was too busy watching them to chase after my balls! BOL!! Then Mom GAVE the puppies one of MY balls to KEEP!! Grrrrrr!! She said I had plenty and I wasn't using it; I say I would have used it if the puppies weren't there! On Sunday, Mom HAD to go shopping - for clothes! I had to wear my vest and stay quiet the whole time we were in the dressing room. Walking around the outdoor mall in this heat is tiring! I was so happy to go home and sleep. Mom did sweat, but not from chasing balls, BOL!! I suspect carrying me in the heat may be what caused her to sweat.
On Monday I wanted to play tug with a stuffie instead of run after balls.
After a few games of stuffie tug, I agreed to play fetch with balls instead of stuffies. We played indoors, it is too hot to run outside!
On Tuesday I went to my vet for my rabies and flu vaccines. I also had my anals expressed, I do not enjoy that! Like most dogs, I am not in the mood to play after seeing the vet.
On Wednesday We did play indoor fetch with my balls. I don't think we did very well at this challenge. If it had been play with your stuffies, I would have done better! BOL!!!!
I know it isn't balls, but the puppies did enjoy playing on the Tillman skateboard I won on Cokie's blog
How do ya'll play when there are distractions like puppies, work, and vet appointments?
