Ready For a Change?

You can change your dog or cat food in as little as one week!
Nutro has an easy to understand pie chart that shows how!
Nutro's guide to food switching
I have copied the chart here:

When switching from another brand to NUTRO® dry pet food, we strongly suggest that you mix the old and new foods together for a short period of time.

Switch Your Pet Over to NUTRO® Pet food in Six Days
Why do we recommend you follow this guide? Your pet's digestive system is sensitive to dietary change, and this blending period allows your pet's digestive system to adjust to highly digestible and healthy NUTRO® food. This will lessen the chances of your pet experiencing dietary upsets that can sometimes accompany changes in diet.

They also have another method on the Nutro Knowledge Network site:
(To me, this seems like it would be the one to use if you are out of the old food, or if it has been recalled)

Tips on switching Pet food:
  • Start by offering your pet a small meal. If he or she eats it and does not develop any tummy troubles as a result, offer another small meal a few hours later.
  • Gradually increase the size and decrease the frequency of your offerings until you are back to your normal schedule
Nutro foods are made in the USA with natural ingredients.  Nutro doesn't use any fillers, by-product meals, ground corn, or artificial colors, flavors or preservatives.

If you are ready for a change, or are already eating Nutro Max, there is a coupon available!

Happy Eating!
