Welcome to BarktoberFest 2012!
BarktoberFest is a big fundraising event for the Humane Society of Pensacola. They are a NO KILL shelter and adoption agency.
The day of the festival was sunny and 88 degrees.
Lots of Dogs show up in costumes to enter the costume contests. All of the contest entry fees go to the Humane Society of Pensacola.
They come in all sizes from the smallest Chihuahua to huge Mastiffs and Great Danes.
Some are in strollers, some are carried, but most are walking on leash. I was in a stroller most of the time. I had a bowl of water in my stroller so I could drink whenever I wanted to.
I saw several Pomeranians!! The most I have ever seen at one of these events!

This one looks like me, but it isn't me! I am actually a little bit larger than this Pomeranian!
Several of the booths were giving free treats and other swag!
There were several basket raffles to enter. All of the raffle entry money went to the Humane Society of Pensacola. I entered for several of the baskets. I think I bought at least a dozen entries all together.

I am really enjoying that blue elephant toy! BOL!!

Can you believe Mom didn't take a single picture of me!?!
I think she should give me a really good treat as an apology.
