Dog Daze 2012

Dog Daze was held in a different park this year.
Dog Daze is a dog friendly event held each year to benefit local shelters and rescues.

It seemed like this park had more room, but to be honest, I can't tell if there were as many booths compared to the other years.  I have to admit, I prefer the other park, it has shade trees and isn't on a highway like this one.   Plus the other park is next to the cookie store! BOL!!
I rode in my stroller, all zipped in so I couldn't try to jump out.  Mom used to not zip me in, just clip my harness, but earlier this year I attempted to jump out.   Fortunately the clip stopped me an inch above the ground so I didn't injure my legs.  Mom learned her lesson and now zips me in.
Maybe my next stroller will have a shorter and stronger harness clip so I can be unzipped.   Mom is looking to get a new stroller for me soon, a sturdier one with larger wheels.
We saw my pal Skye!  She is super sweet.  She was at my Nutro Pawty in July.
We also saw this dog, a Keeshond.  Mom asked her owners some questions because Mom is considering this breed for her next Service Dog when I retire in the (very distant) future.

These are some of the other dogs we saw!  Including a  black and white pair of Scotties, and a Pommie pack (in full coat!)!
Then I decided it was time to go home and started barking.  BOL!!

  1. Hmmmm... Maybe the other doggies and doggie-moms didn't like the new location? Hoomans always seem to want to make things "better" when they should just leave well enough alone! It still looks like a fun day, though!!

  3. Pepper hope your mommy got all the information she needed about the Keeshond since she is considering that breed when you retire. I see she likes dogs with plenty of hair. Sorry there wasn't as much participation and they changed the venue and this park wasn't as nice because you missed going to the cookie store.
