Baxter - More News for "April is National Pets Are Wonderful Month"

Meet Baxter!
Baxter is a precious 10 month old cream Pomeranian.

Baxter is looking for a new home.  His owner's life became too busy for her to give him the attention he needs.  She wants Baxter to go to a really good home.   He is currently staying at the Canine Discovery Center - Doggie Daycare & Boarding.

Baxter is super sweet.  Mom picked him up, and he cuddled right up to her.  He loves to be held.   He allowed Mom to grab his ears and paws.  She even pulled back his lip.   He was a good boy the whole time we were there.  I didn't even grrr at him.   He is calm for a Pomeranian.   Of course, even the calmest Pomeranian is hyper compared to a Mastiff.  BOL!
He is still a bit of a puppy since he is only 10 months old.  He has a beautiful coat.  A Pomeranian doesn't have their full coat until they are 2 years old.  Imagine how beautiful he will be then!   He is smaller than I am.   Mom guesses he is about 7 pounds.  His ribcage isn't as broad or as heavy as mine is.   He is a nice size for a Pomeranian, he isn't over-sized, but he isn't super tiny either.
He has been neutered, and all of his vet care is up to date.
If I weren't so possessive, Mom would love to take him.   We all know how territorial and possessive I am, so I will remain an only dog.  The lady that supervised the meeting noticed that I was not happy when Mom held Baxter.
I have decided to include Baxter in my "April is Pets are Wonderful Month" celebration.  I am hoping a loving person who reads this post will give Baxter a wonderful forever home.
The Canine Discovery Center is located in Mary Ester, FL.   If you are in the Florida Panhandle area, and would like to give Baxter a loving home inside your house, please call 850-243-5080

  8. Wow! What a cutie. Still always amazes me how humans can give up their pets. I guess every situation is different. But still - this pup looks like a sweetie. Hope Baxter finds a forever home soon!
