JW Pet Company Crackle Heads - Pet Product Review

Naturally, I enjoy all of the JW Pet Company toys I received at BarkWorld 2012!
You've seen my review on the Rockin Treat Ball, now I want to bark about the Crackle Heads

I must admit, I pawsitively adore them!  They are a little addictive.   I get wound up when I hear the sound, and feel the crunching of the crackle head.
There is a crackle ball inside the head of Crackle Head toys.  The crackle ball is made of the same stuff as a water bottle, but stronger and ball shaped.  My lion is my favorite Crackle Head toy.  I love it so much that Mom gave me a blue dog Crackle Head for my birthday this year.

The blue dog is lots of fun, but I still really LOVE the lion!  Maybe I like it so much because it sort of looks me?  BOL!!  Maybe I like the feel of the shaggy mane?  I'm not telling Mom the exact reason why the lion is my favorite.  That is my secret.
I only wish they sold replacement crackle balls.  I have crunched the heads a lot, and now they are a bit misshapen.  BOL!!  I know I could get a new Crackle Head toy, but it wouldn't be the same as the first one!  It would smell new.  BOL!!!   I would play with it but I would still prefer the old one.

Crackle Head toys are available in several styles.  My favorites are the plush ones.  They come in 2 sizes, medium & large; mine are medium.   I have a medium size red canvas Crackle Head Cuz toy, also available in large size.   They have the rubber Cuz and Ball for tougher chewers.  They come in 3 sizes:  small, medium, and large.  They even have medium and large size canvas stuffed Crackle Heads toys.

Did I mention that they also have a squeaky in  the body?  Bonus!!  Two fun sounds in one Pawsome toy!   I think only the plush toys have a squeaky.  There isn't any stuffing in it, so the squeaky is real easy to find and squeak & squeak & squeak!  I am ecstatic!!   If you like to crunch water bottles & play with squeaky toys, you'll love Crackle Heads!

Have you tried a JW Pet Company Crackle Heads toy yet?

  1. Hi Pepper! Monnie and Roscoe won a box of JW toys last year and they were all amazing however no crackle heads were included. Are they new?

    1. Hi Monnie & Roscoe! Yes, the Crackle Heads toys are new! They were out in Fall of 2012. JW has even more new toys coming out later in 2013. Many of them featuring a tough white nylon for strong chewers.
      Hugs,

  5. Pepper reading your blogs are really enlightening me to things I have never heard of. I have never heard of the crackling head toys but I guess I would prefer the plus they give off two sounds the crackling and the squeaky. I liked the blue dog you were playing with. I don't blame you for liking the lion.
