Kumfy Tailz - Pet Product Review & #Giveaway

The Kumfy Tailz harness has new sizing options!
You may remember that I reviewed the Kumfy Tailz Harness last year.
You know that I am always whining about how hard it is to fit my deep chest.  Usually by the time something fits my chest, it is too big in other areas.   I think the nice people at Kumfy Tailz must have listened to me because they created more fitting options.
Last year I needed a size small Kumfy Tailz Harness.  This year they gave me an extra small harness with the new fitting option.
In the above photo you can see the difference in length.   The size small is a little long for me.  The old extra small couldn't fit around my chest.  The new extra small (using the new extenders) fits me pawfectly!

I am wearing the extra small in the top picture and the small in the bottom.  You can see how much better the extra small fits me.  The strap is right behind my armpits - where it belongs, instead of a couple inches beyond them.
Kumfy Tailz manages this pawfect fit by supplying 2 extenders with the harness.   Now deep chested dogs get those extra couple of inches for the best fit.   You can use both, one, or none of the extenders.  It all depends on what you need for the best fit.   I get a nice snug fit with one extender, and if I want to wear the harness on top of clothes, I can use both extenders.
Last year's size chart.
The new size chart from the Kumfy Tailz website.
If you compare the old size chart to the new size chart, you will notice Kumfy Tailz now offers a new size - XX small.    The new size chart also includes the girth ranges with and without the extenders.   For example:  Xsmall without any extenders will fit a girth from 12 to 14 inches, but it can go up to 19 inches if you attach the included extenders.
These new fitting options are pawsome!  Now more dogs with unique shapes and sizes will be able to enjoy the Kumfy Tailz Harness's cooling + heating comfort.   Better fit adjustments and more sizes - High Paws to Kumfy Tailz!
Kumfy Tailz cools and warms the same way it did last year (please read my first review), but now it fits me better.   Naturally I needed smaller Kumfy Pax to fit the Xsmall harness.   The harness comes with one Kumfy Pax, and Kumfy Tailz gave me a spare Kumfy Pax.  They know I like to have a spare in the freezer to use when the first one needs to be refrozen.   I won't let summer heat ruin my fun at the dog park!  I just pop in a frozen Kumfy Pax, and keep on sniffing around.
I am so excited about the new Kumfy Tailz fitting options!
Let's have a giveaway!  My pals at Kumfy Tailz will send one lucky Pepper's Paws reader their very own Kumfy Tailz Harness!

  1. I have five rescued Treeing Walker Coonhounds and even though three are around the same weight, their measurements are completely different. I have had trouble finding harnesses that fit them properly - especially my Kyoko, who is smaller than my two boys, but weighs the same (she was nearly starved to death and is now chubby). She's the one I have the hardest time fitting.

  2. My dog has a long body and he is of slim build, it makes it hard to find him the proper harness.

  6. They usually fit but some aggravate his trachea so I have to find the "choke-free" ones.

  10. Well fitted harness is half of success, if you add warming/cooling feature, you get yourself a real deal! X-small is great option for sphynx! Awesome harness indeed!
