Plato Pet Treats - Pet Product Review

While I was sniffing around Global Pet Expo 2015 earlier this month,
I discovered these pawsome Plato Pet Treats!

Plato Pet Treats is a family run company in California.  They are made in the USA, in California to be precise.   All of the ingredients are responsibly sourced from the USA.   Let me bark this in plain Doglish:   no ingredients from China, no artificial unhealthy stuff, no GMO stuff, and no by-products or meals.
Now that we know Plato Pet Treats are safe, healthy treats, let's get to the fun part - the tasting!   First I sampled the new Plato Pet Treats Small Bites.   These delicious little meaty treats are the pawfect size for me.   They are also a furrific size training treat for any size dog.   These bite sized morsels are delicious!  They are so yummy that I gobbled them up faster than the camera could focus.  BOL!!  You can see me laughing at Mom in the third photo of the above picture strip.  She's too slow to catch me!
Small Bites are grain free and contain over 75% meat.  That means the Organic Chicken Small Bites are over 75% responsibly sourced, certified organic, USA chicken meat!   Yummy!   I'm a happy Pommie!
Small Bites Organic Chicken ingredients:  Organic chicken, sweet potato, tomato, vegetable glycerin, cranberry, blueberry, egg, salt, gelatin, zinc propioate, vitamin E supplement, coated ascorbic acid (source of Vitamin C).
Small Bites Duck ingredients:  Duck, sweet potato, tomato, vegetable glycerin, cranberry, blueberry, egg, salt, gelatin, zinc propioate, vitamin E supplement, coated ascorbic acid (source of Vitamin C).
Plato Pet Treats also has some grain free treats in a larger size.  The Farmer's Market treats are nice sized bar that lasted long enough for Mom to capture some photos.   They are a great size to treat large dogs, but the size is also just right for my "nite nite" snack (The big snack/treat I eat at bedtime to hold me over until breakfast).  Plato Pet Treats Farmer's Market snacks contain probiotics to support healthy digestion.  I'm not a fan of veggies, but these treats have so much meat that I didn't notice the veggies.  They are delicious!   I think this is my new favorite way to eat my veggies = completely disguised by meat!
Salmon & Vegetables Farmer's Market ingredients:  Salmon, sweet potato, tomato, carrot, celery, beet, parsley, lettuce, watercress, spinach, green pea, salt, zinc propionate, vitamin E supplement, coated ascorbic acid (source of Vitamin C), bacillus subtilus fermentation product.
OMD!  Look at the size of the Plato Pet Treats Thinkers treat!  I think I'm in doggy treat heaven!  A foot long stick of Pacific Salmon just for me!  Noooooo, Mom broke it in half and only let me eat half the treat.  She's saving the other half for tomorrow, something about me being too small to eat so much at once.  Thinkers contain over 90% meat.  These yummy Pacific Salmon sticks are almost pure Salmon!  They have plenty of DHA to nourish my brain.  I think that must be why they are named Thinkers.   A note for my pals on a strict grain free diet: they aren't 100% grain free, they have a little brown rice in them.   I'm glad I can eat rice, because these are super yummy.   All I taste is Salmon!  I really wish Mom would let me eat the whole stick at once.  BOL!  If she did let me eat the whole stick, maybe I would grow smart enough to trick her into giving me the whole bag!
Pacific Salmon Thinkers ingredients:  Salmon, brown rice, salt, zinc propionate, fat product (source of DHA), mixed tocopherols (preservative), citric acid, rosemary extract, vitamin E supplement, L-ascorbyl-2phosphate (source of vitamin C), vegetable glycerin, collagen casing.
I think Plato Pet Treats are pawsome, Pomtastic, and deserve a friendly nose licking!  Thank you for the yummy healthy treats!

    1. I agree Abby! You will love them as much as I do! I know Baron will try to keep my duck & organic chicken Small Bites. Guess we will have a sibling rivalry furgument (fur-argument). Thankfully Baron doesn't like fish, so I will get to eat all of the salmon ones myself. BOL!
